From the very first phone call, Sam and Rebecca felt like people I should have been friends with a loooooong time ago. We seriously have so many things in common! I mean, Sam walked down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme, and they ended the ceremony with the Parks and Rec theme! Dinosaurs and Leslie Knope are two of my favorite things!
Sam & Rebecca’s wedding was filled with small details that reflected their personalities. I remember thinking I was completely done photographing the details when I saw the officiant holding Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. I immediately asked for it and then went to go find the rings. To this day, those ring shots are some of my favorites!
Sam asked if we could start the day their home so they could get pictures with their two dogs. Yes. The answer is always yes.
Sam & Rebecca’s wedding ceremony was one of the sweetest I’ve ever seen. I will never forget Sam’s face when she saw Rebecca for the first time. It was seriously one of the best moments I’ve had the honor of capturing. And their reception was seriously SO much fun. It was the best dance party I’ve ever been to! It was such a special day, and I can’t wait to reconnect with these two amazing people for their anniversary session in October!
