I entered the Shoot & Share contest for the first time this year! It was a really great experience to look back through my photos and pick my favorites! I got to relive memories from some of my favorite days and experience the emotions all over again! It was also a nice reassurance that hey, I’m kinda good at this photography thing!
I had no idea how HUGE the contest is! It started with over 500,000 photos from 144 different countries! There were 12 rounds of voting to narrow down the field. I got SO excited every time I was notified that a photo received a vote! As each round passed, my excitement only grew!
In the end I had TWO finalists! Only the top 2.2% of photos made it to the final round! Here are my top photos – I can’t wait to try again next year!
