When it comes to your ceremony, you can tie the knot in one of five different locations: the East Lawn, Prairie View, Rose Garden, South Grove, or the Rock Garden. These spots can hold anywhere from 200 to 400 guests making it perfect for even larger weddings!

If the weather takes a turn for the worse, they do also have indoor options that you can choose from. These are guaranteed if you booked a reception at the venue as well!

Speaking of receptions, the party can continue in a few different locations. You have Le Jardin which boasts massive windows, an open patio and room for up to 230 guests. There is also the Red Oak Room which is a bit more intimate (maxing out at 150 guests) and overlooks the golf course on the property. Finally, you have the Woodside Pavilion. Warehouse: 109

For a more unique wedding venue, you have to check out Warehouse: 109 in Plainfield. This warehouse turned event space is such a cool place to host your wedding and has so many amazing touches throughout.

The venue itself is very open and flexible so you can really customize the space  for your wedding day. There is around 4,000 square feet of space inside with another 2,000 square feet of space outside.

The venue also features some really unique things like a wall of antique motorcycles, a full vintage style bar, and an Airstream that they have converted into a lounge. They also have a ton of other rentals that you can get to make your night unforgettable like a photobooth, an outdoor bar, and even a tattoo bar cart!

The Haight

The Haight is a Chicago suburbs wedding venue rich in history. The building it is located in was built all the way back in 1890 when it was the Elgin Storage and Transfer Company. Today, it has been restored and still holds so much of that original charm with exposed brick and beams throughout.

The venue spans 12,000 square feet so there is plenty of room for you and up to 220 guests. The venue has two different levels to it, making it easy to transform during the wedding without causing too much of a scene, and a rooftop deck.

If that hasn’t convinced you yet, you also get private access to the venue for 12 hours, there are two private suites for you and your partner to get ready, three (yes three) different bars, and custom built tables!

This space really has the perfect combination of old school industrial with all the modern accommodations that you and your partner would want.

Armour House

The Armour House is an interesting wedding venue because it is actually part of the Lake Forest Academy Boarding School. This house dates back to the early 1900s and is around 29,000 square feet.

Some of the best features of this venue are the outdoor ceremony location and the grand staircase.

When it comes to saying I do, you can walk along the beautiful grass outside the house to their amazing garden area. Not only are you surrounded by a perfectly manicured landscape, but you’ll also have a massive fountain as the backdrop for your ceremony.

Once you are ready to kick the reception off, you and your partner can descend down the grand staircase into the main hall to get the party started. The venue can also hold up to 260 guests so it has plenty of space for all of your family and friends.

In addition to the venue itself, they also have an in-house caterer who will work with you to create a menu that is perfect for you and your partner as well as getting ready suites for both of you to use before the wedding!

Tuscany Falls

Finally, we have Tuscany Falls. This is a beautiful wedding venue in the southwest suburb of Mokena.

For your ceremony, there are three different spots throughout the venue that you can choose from. You can opt to keep everything in the same room and have your ceremony in the reception hall. The open floor plan allows for your ceremony and reception to be set up simultaneously.

If you are looking for outdoor options, you can choose from their Courtyard or the Gazebo. The Courtyard has a beautiful stone wall and fireplace as your backdrop with greenery all around the sides to add a bit of life to the area.

The Gazebo on the other hand is a solid granite gazebo that is so beautiful. You also get the amazing stone wall behind and the area is surrounded by plants to add a bit of color to the area. The Courtyard can accommodate up to 75 guests for your ceremony and the Gazebo and host 55.

Once you have tied the knot, you can head inside to the banquet space to dance the night away. Here you’ll find beautiful chandeliers and tons of space for you and your guests to celebrate together. There is also a grand staircase at the venue that is perfect for pictures!
